According to the latest data from the Ministry of Commerce, from January to November 2025, Chinas service trade has grown steadily. The total value of service imports and exports was 7,202.37 billion yuan, increasing by 7.1% year-on-year. The export of travel services has grown rapidly. From January to November 2025, the import and export of travel services reached 1,976.27 billion yuan, increasing by 8.2%. Among them, the export increased by 51.3%, while the import increased by 1.9%. 
From January to November in 2025, Chinas service trade exports reached 3,198.01 billion yuan, increasing by 13.4%; imports amounted to 4,004.36 billion yuan, growing by 2.5%; the service trade deficit was 806.35 billion yuan, a decrease of 279.63 billion yuan compared with the previous year. 
Knowledge-intensive service trade maintained growth. From January to November 2025, the import and export of knowledge-intensive services reached 2,730.57 billion yuan, increasing by 5.6%. Among them, the import and export of other business services, telecommunications, computer and information services were 1,177.68 billion yuan and 959.21 billion yuan respectively, with growth rates of 4.1% and 8.3% respectively. The export of knowledge-intensive services was 1,601.47 billion yuan, increasing by 8.5%; the import of knowledge-intensive services was 112.91 billion yuan, increasing by 1.7%; the surplus was 472.37 billion yuan, expanding by 106.74 billion yuan compared with the previous year.
